Fitbit One Tracker versus the Withings Pulse

So... today is Wednesday, August 14th, 2013. Going on my eight month of using a fitness tracker. I originally purchased the +Fitbit One back in January, 2013 to keep track of my daily steps, distance, calories, and how my flights of stairs climbed. Initially, I was doubtful about learning to adapt to carrying around device clipped to my waist or in my front pocket. Moreover, the worry and added step (no pun intended) of synchronizing a device routinely. However, after the first week I was… hooked! Counting steps became a habit after the initial week and the Fitbit One continues to take care of everything. If I forgot to synchronize on Monday  or Tuesday – no biggie. You can actually goes days without connecting your tracker to a smartphone or computer. Although, once your friends join in and the leaderboard grows a daily sync becomes even more fun! The programmers make it easy allowing you to setup auto-synchronization with your computer or your smartphone – problem fixed!

Sleep
How well did you sleep last night and for how long? The Fitbit One and the Fitbit Flex both come with a sleep analysis feature built in. Just before I retire to bed each night I press the button for three seconds and a timer initiates. The sleep mode also serves as activity mode (more about that later). In the morning when I awake for the day I press the button again and the timer
