Fitbit Journal Update and details about the Force battery life

Dear Fitbit,

I simply wanted to thank you for making wonderful products to help with fitness & health. Your trackers are the best I have ever used. Moreover, thank you for letting me know automatically when my battery is low! The last time I charged my Fitbit Force was... back on January 13th, 2014 at 14:30
Day 2 - still a green icon 01/14
Day 3 - still a green icon 01/15
Day 4 - still good 01/16
Day 5 - still good 01/17
Day 6 - still good 01/18
Day 7 - still good 01/19
Day 8 - still good 01/20
Day 9 - still great 01/21
Day 10 - still great 01/22 - low batter icon, red batter appeared yesterday afternoon on the iPhone Fitbit App and online
Day 11, 01/23 received the low battery notification within the app and the low battery email, ergo, I plugged my Fitbit Force into a USB port on my computer.  What is the point of the story? The Fitbit Force battery is amazing for how frequently I am synchronizing my iPhone and Fitbit. Often the app is open and according to support the iPhone app attempts to synchronize every 45 minutes. On my own I sync in the morning, the afternoon and at least twice each night. For this last segment I was not using the silent alarm, just the goal alarm. As of this morning I setup a silent alarm to awake me each morning to see if the battery can still make it another eleven days - I hope it does!

Sincerely,
Peter

P.S. And just for fun here is a picture of my dashboard... And before you ask, yes, I am striving to be #1 next month!

Hi Peter,

Your Force battery level is low. Charge your battery as soon as possible.

To charge:

1. Plug the power cable into a USB port
2. Plug the other end of the power cable into the back of your Force. A progress bar should appear on the screen
3. A full charge can take between 1-2 hours depending on the remaining battery level

Your battery should last 7-10 days under normal use.

Happy stepping!
