Mobile Devices - Nexus 4 or ?

An interesting review of the Nexus 4 hitting shelves laster this month. This writer was clear about his view of flaws. However, I recall back in 2007 when AT&T and Apple joined forces. The iPhone was only available through one carrier, AT&T, yet millions flocked to the stores to grab the new hardware/software. I think the Nexus 4 is going to bring the same results! There was a fair comparison made between the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Nexus 4. I have yet to use to Nexus 4 (hope to have my hands on one in the two weeks) but, I have been using the Galaxy SIII for almost three weeks now. It is a good phone, think, light, but doesn't feel as if I am holding a $500 smartphone. A mistake the Nexus 4 plans to remedy as customers not only enjoying using this new Google flagship device, but also can feel their reward of shelling out $299 with a more solid-looking mobile.

Okay, so the look and feel, are these two factors truly a factor in purchasing a phone...? Yes! Why? Among my friends and co-workers mobile devices (smartphones) are not just a phone anymore for making calls. They have overgrown their once small niche of being convenience one could just leave in the car's glove box for emergencies. My smartphone is used about three to four hours per day. Whether it is for checking e-mails, social media, texting, reading news, photography, music, or making phone calls the device it there is serve multiple purposes. Then again, it is just a phone. No, it is not just a phone, it is a portable computer allowing anyone to maintain social connections hourly, to tweet what they just ate, what movie watched, about a  badge just earned, and share picture just snapped of their child...

My prediction is this: iPhone 5, Nexus 4, or the Sony Xperia any of the three one cannot go wrong. If you still remember the Palm Treo smartphone we are so better off today. So, best of luck in your choices this fall as even more smartphones land in stores, pop-up online, and remain on shelves ( ) all in hope of being wrapped in pretty packages to ring as a present come Christmas day.
